I am a die hard MCR fan and I compleately understand how you all feel about the band,but why do you have to overdo it with all the ''hes so hot'' or ''omg his hair is amazing'' comments all the time?Did you ever think maybe your one of the reason people hate the band and all the fans so much?What they look like or who their dating has absolutely nothing to do with their musical abilities or what their music really means and no one really cares,it just pisses every one else off and makes them hate you and the band even more.Im just really sick of having to take $hit for likeing them and thats mainly the fans fault for pushing people with annoying comments and questions about the stupidest $hit thats totaly irrelavent to music at all.All Im asking is why you feel its so necissary to let every one know how insanely obsessed with them you are?Like I said before, Im a fan and Im not trying to run anyone down Im just wondering why.

:) I feel the exact same way. I'm a fan of the band, but I'm not ridiculous about it. It's an automatic turn off now when I say 'Oh yeah I like My Chemical Romace' because of all the obssesive fans. I don't understad why people can't enjoy music without having to convert everyone else to liking it too. I like music that I know scares some people. I would never try to shove it on them. I don't mind the questions about the individual members in moderation. But seriously, one could od on the MCRmy's senseless questions.

I rather like MCR, it's always their fans that sort of turn me off to them, to be completely honest. A good majority, and I'm not saying all of them, but a good majority of them all can be lumped into the same, obnoxious, stereotypical category. I've often refrained from admitting that I'm a fan of them for this reason.

In any case, I agree with what you said, and I just thought I'd let you know that. So thanks for posting this.

I am big fan of MCR. I have never gotten **** for liking them but I am sorry you do. I never ever liked a band for their appearance. I am a fan only because of a bands music. I think you are refering to the "flavor of the month fans" who only like whats popular for the moment. True MCR fans would not brag about their looks, they brag about their music : )

I'd say my dislike of them is about 50/50 the music and the fans, but I really appreciate you saying that. Hopefully this will make all of the annoying fans snap out of it. Actually that's probably too much to hope for, bit it is very nice to hear someone sane say that.

maybe you should be mad at who ever decided to market MCR as an emo/pretty boy/whatever you would call it band (possibly the record company that signed them) The drummer didn't use to have emo hair and the lead singer didn't always use to be a skinny pretty boy.

They probably choose the age demographic they wanted to reach and marketed the bands image to appeal to them for the money.

I've been an MCR fan since I was about 10 years old (about 3 years ago). I totally agree. %26amp; I also hate how when they came out with the black parade CD, EVERYONE loved them. Word sistah, I totally agree with you. I don't really care for MCR. They have some decent guitar work, and "Welcome to the Black Parade" is a pretty epic song with all the dynamic changes and whatnot. But besides that, they pretty much blow sweaty emo balls. Plus Gerard is not an attractive man at all, he looks like a vampire with all his pastey whiteness. I don't get what chicks see in him.

i agree with you. I'm not gunna lie, my chemical romance is hot, and most of them have pretty cool hair. that is not why i like them though. i liked my chemical romance before i even knew what any of the members looked like. i would still love them if they all abruptly turned into trolls too (as long as they still sounded good).

when i comment about mcr on here, i usually talk about the depth of the music, what the band stands for, what the songs mean, ect (you know, the music)

the little fan girls occasionally bug me too. a couple comments on their looks or hair is ok sometimes, but they go CRAZY. it seems like they do not appreciate the band for their music, but for their looks (this makes them seem very shallow.)

Thank you for taking the time to post this. That was very mature of you and I wish more MCR fans could take on an attitude like yours.

With that said, most of us do not *hate* MCR. As a matter of fact, the majority of us have never even heard a single song by them. We hate the obsessive fans and simply dislike the style of music. That is all there is to it. The obscene amount of "iSnT gErArD sOo HaWt?" questions are what set all the non fans throwing back anti MCR questions in hopes of the compulsive fans catching the drift as to how annoying it is to see millions of rediculous questions being posted one after the other. Unfortunately, even the bashing has got way out of hand and is just as irritating as the fans' questions. **rolls eyes**

I think the only solution at this point is to TRY and ignore all the immature questions and not answer them. The people posting these questions are looking for attention and if they don't get any, they will slowly stop asking them.
