There's this guy i really like, and he just broke up with his girlfriend. today he gave me 2 hugs, he's my best guy friend, and we sit together on the bus almost every day. He likes to tease me and make fun of me, and poke my side. We always make each other laugh, and hang out whenever we can [not like at houses cuz my mom won't let me], but he's asked me to come to his house. once we were at a band concert and he was like, "whoa, you're wearing nice shoes, and tights, and a skirt!" sometimes he playfully insults me (i.e. saying my hair is greasy when he knows that it's wet from my shower) and sometimes he says things like the example above. we've had 2 deep religious conversations. sometimes he does really nice things for me like helping me find my way around somewhere and rehearsing lines with me for play auditions. Well, i'm wondering if i should ask him out, or just wait, because valentine's day is coming up, the perfect time. please help!!! ;) thank you in advance.

The thing is that he sees you as a really good close friend and thats how close friends act, trust me I have been in the same position before. I would give him a weak to fully get over his girlfriend. If you really like him start asking him to hang out and when you do just don't hang out anywhere start to do things that are a little romantic and start to hint at things and you should flirt a little and give space. When flirting look into is eyes and smile while giving off a warm glow, lightly touch or rub his arm or thigh this will seem different to instead of a friendly hit or punch.

Oh i really couldn't tell if he likes u the way u want, but from all the infos u have written i think he only cares for u as a friend as u have said he's your bestfriend..But i could be wrong too..I think the best thing to know if he really likes u is to wait for him to ask you out for the Valentines day..If he do, then that means he likes u too maybe more than just friends. Dont move to fast or you'll possibly lose a good friend. He JUST broke up with a gf, thats not a reason to move in a few days later. Let him get over that, and just stay by and give him attention and maybe he'll notice youre more.
